On behalf of our client, a global brand that is known to be the world's largest furniture retailer! We are seeking an experienced Office Support Administrator to join the team!

Location: Edmonton , Alberta, entirely onsite

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Office Support Administrator will be responsible for providing day to day support to the Human Resources Team. The successful candidate will work closely with operational HR, project leader, sponsor, and key stakeholders.

  • Work with the project development team scheduling meetings and creating timelines.
  • Develop and implement standard project plans with detailed activities, timeline and key miles stones.
  • Working with project leader and project specialist to outline project scope, goals, deliverables, resources needed and timing.
  • Provide administrative support and information to the site leadership team.
  • Participate in projects requiring data analysis and report creation.

Job Requirements


  • 1-3 Years previous experience in administrator role.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with computer software (i.e. MS Office, databases) is required.
  • Works on other assignments and support the HRMS Manager.
  • Contributes to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement office admin-related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth daily operations!
