Job Description

TRG partners with a leading automotive manufacturer and have an opportunity available for an Industrial Millwright to join our client team, based in Ancaster. If you have great attention to detail and love working with your hands, please review below!

Location: Ancaster

Shift's available:

Morning shift |7:00 am - 3:30 pm | Monday-Friday

Afternoon shift | 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm | Monday-Friday

Night Shift | 11:00 pm - 07:30 am | Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $41 per hour, weekly pay, every Friday!

Job Duties:

• Utilize CMMS to receive, complete and close Work Orders, as well as order parts.

• Performs preventive maintenance on packaging and Baking Equipment.

• Install, assemble, and align new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

• Monitor conveyor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize conveyor flow for efficient product movement.

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of automated systems used for order picking and packing.

• Respond promptly to breakdown calls and troubleshoot/repair the problems

• Perform breakdown analysis to create action plans to address root causes

• Perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and report unsafe conditions

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in maintenance shop

• Standing, walking, reaching and bending for periods of time across all areas of the facility, lifting up to 30lbs in a safe manner.

• Some repairs will be conducted in high or low temperature environments, depending on the location within the facility


Job Requirements

What we need from you:

• Must have a valid industrial millwright trade license 433A

• Strong knowledge of equipment and processes within scope of job. Certified in use of all required equipment

• Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical equipment problems

• Creative problem-solving skills

• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet using Scissor-lifts and ladders

• Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder and hand tools

• Working knowledge of MIG/TIG welding

• Perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and report unsafe conditions

• Must bring your own tools, a tool allowance is provided to replace tools
