Job Description
We are hiring Material Handlers to join our team, based in Orangeville! Our client is a leading Canadian distributor of branded tires. Temp to Perm Opportunity.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hr, weekly pay, every Friday!
Shifts Available: Day Shift-7:30am-3:30pm
Job Duties:
- Locating product/tires in the warehouse – tires are put away and consolidation of locations is done accurately, orderly and in a timely manner.
- Load/unload product/tires using Order Picker where required, ensuring product and tires stacked correctly, all product is accounted for and ready to be put away
- Checking for accuracy – tires picked match paperwork and is checked for errors; discrepancies are corrected; product is marked for loading; all procedures are completed accurately.
- Manually palletizing and wrapping skids, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a KPI driven environment, meeting daily quotas.
- Assist in other general labour duties as required.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have own vehicle to commute daily.
- Forklift Certification (Order Picker with Fall Arrest) is required.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with noise, dust, rubber odours, cold and hot temperatures.
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds through an 8-hour shift
- Flexible to work extended hours if required is a strong asset
