Job Description
TRG has a permanent opportunity available for an Industrial Millwright to join our client team, based in Richmond, BC! Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Food and Beverage industry, who manufacture and distribute a variety of delicious snacks!
**Must be able to relocate to Richmond, BC. Please note Relocation is not provided.
Pay Rate: $40-43 per hour + shift premium
Shift: Afternoon Shift | 3pm - 11pm
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Duties:
- Utilize CMMS to receive, complete and close Work Orders, as well as order parts.
- Performs preventive maintenance on packaging and Baking Equipment.
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and troubleshoot/repair the problems
- Perform breakdown analysis to create action plans to address root causes
- Perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and report unsafe conditions
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in maintenance shop
- Standing, walking, reaching and bending for periods of time across all areas of the facility, lifting up to 30lbs in a safe manner.
- Some repairs will be conducted in high or low temperature environments, depending on the location within the facility

What we need from you:
- Must have a valid industrial millwright trade license 433A.
- Strong knowledge of equipment and processes within scope of job. Certified in use of all required equipment
- Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical equipment problems.
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet using Scissor-lifts and ladders
- Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder and hand tools
- Working knowledge of MIG/TIG welding
- Perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and report unsafe conditions
- Must bring your own tools, a tool allowance is provided to replace tools.
