Job Description
Main Intersection: Airport Rd & Steeles
Shift: Afternoon | 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Duties:
The janitor will ensure cleanliness inside all areas of the warehouse including offices, washrooms, locker change rooms. You will be responsible for performing general cleaning duties inside client facilities including but not limited to:
- Dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping. Remove garbage and recycling from the centralized areas.
- Clean washrooms and change rooms and replenish supplies (i.e. soaps, paper towels, hand cream).
- Clean warehouse floors, shelves, walls and where applicable, any marks on the floor.
- Clean cafeteria, including the food preparation area, microwaves, freezers, coolers and storage areas.
- Remove garbage and recycling materials as needed. Maintain coffee brewers as required.
Job Requirements
- Must be physically comfortable to stand/bend/walk around a warehouse
- Good command of the English language (ability to read, write and understand English)
- Previous cleaning experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
