Job Description

DAY IN THE LIFE

• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.

• Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.

• Lead a team of 5 and effectively guide, direct, coach, train, mentor and advise the maintenance team.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems.

• Diagnose electrical and electronic control systems and other related equipment, devices, or components.

• Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.

• Daily inspection of building perimeter, including general repairs.


Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Facilities Manager

• Prior experience in a Millwright position

• Ability to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.

• Basic understanding of schematics, plans and blueprints.

• Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.

• Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
